Getting there:                       Port Stephens is located 2 ½ hour drive from Sydney or a ½ hour flight from Sydney Airport to Newcastle Airport

Accommodation:                A very popular tourist destination hence a wide variety of accommodation is always available starting from AUD$80 per night

Times:                                    Departing the Anchorage Marina at 7.00 am and returning at approximately 5.30 pm

Price includes:                    All meals, soft drinks, bottled water and necessary tackle on a replace if lost or damaged basis.  Alcohol can be provided on request.

 

 

Port Stephens is a very popular Sport and Game Fishing area in Australia with the biggest tournament in the Southern Hemisphere held here during Feb and March each year. All 3 species of billfish can be caught here each day with chances of a Grand Slam very high. We also specialise in flyfishing and light tackle for the marlin, with many world records caught here over the years make it a top pick for record chasers.

Port Stephens is also situated next to the premiere wine growing area of Australia which makes for a great day trip on days off or for partners.

Captain Tim Dean is now taking bookings for charters for Port Stephens for the 2009 marlin season starting from the first week of January.

 Deep Sea fishing is now catered for as well with Snapper, Jewfish and Kingfish a specialty. Also guests can now put there name down for share charters with other groups, Starting from just AUD$365 pp for a full day marlin fishing with all gear supplied on a replace if lost or damaged basis.
